Tocvan Releases Surface Exploration Results Identifying Undrilled High-Grade Au-Ag Target Zones Highlighted By: 9.2 g/t Au and 279 g/t Ag; 6.6 g/t Au and 433 g/t Ag; and 1.3 g/t Au and 524 g/t Ag

Tocvan Ventures Corp. (the “Company”) (CSE:TOC) (CNSX:TOC.CN) (OTC:TCVNF) (FSE:TV3), is pleased to announce surface sample results from its Pilar Au-Ag Project in Sonora, Mexico. A surface exploration program was conducted in December following-up on target areas identified earlier in 2021. A total of 59 samples were collected with 21 samples returning values  greater than 0.5 g/t Au (Table 1). Sampling defined several new target areas yet to be drilled. The Main Zone has been expanded with high-grade Au-Ag values (9.2 g/t Au and 279 g/t Ag) along the southeast extent hosted in a silicified quartz vein breccia. The 4-T Trend has been extended to the southeast 100-meters with high-grade Au-Ag values, highlighted by 6.6 g/t Au and 433 g/t Ag hosted in a strongly silicified fault. A new vein corridor identified by several artisanal workings and shafts over a 200-meter strike has returned high-grade silver values highlighted by 524 g/t Ag and 1.3 g/t Au hosted in a silicified quartz vein breccia. In addition, mineralization has been identified further to the south (300-meters) highlighted by 3.1 g/t Au and 27 g/t Ag. read more

Tocvan Updates on Trenching Program at its Pilar Au-Ag Project

Trenching has started with four trenches completed to date at 4-Trench, North Hill and Main Zone targets. A trench at North Hill is complete and has been channel sampled to analyze an anomalous copper zone with oxide gold-silver mineralization. A trench at 4-Trench is complete and will be used for structural analysis and future drill targeting. Two Main Zone trenches are complete and material will be used for column leach studies and detailed structural analysis. Channel sample results from trenches are expected in January 2022 followed by submittal of bulk sample material for metallurgical test work. A Phase II drill program was completed in June with over 3,500 meters of reverse circulation (RC) drilling in twenty (20) drill holes. Drilling was successful in three key target areas: 1) Main Zone Expansion, 30m to the northwest and a total of 150m to the southeast; 2) 4 Trench Zone, definition of a new mineralized trend over a 500m strike, parallel to the Main Zone; 3) Triple Vein Zone, one hole drilled, intersected a narrow silver-rich zone with gold.
