MGX Minerals Inc. (“MGX” or the “Company”) (CSE: XMG / OTCQB: MGXMF / FSE: 1MG) and engineering partner PurLucid Treatment Solutions (“PurLucid”) are pleased to report commissioning results from its commercial-scale 5m3 per hour (750 barrel per day) NFLi-5 advanced wastewater treatment system. The system is currently operating and under contract with an oilsands SAGD operator to process evaporator blowdown water (EBD). The study focused on a 3-week operational period in December 2018 as preparation for an additional in-line deployment of a new 10m3 per hour (1500 bpd), which is now underway. read more

Retraction and Clarification of Disclosure in January 15, 2019 News Release

At the request of IIROC, the Company wishes to retract and clarify certain disclosure in its January 15, 2019 news release.  Specifically, the disclosure “doubling resource potential” is a violation of NI 43-101, 2.3(1)(a) – Restricted Disclosure, as “resource potential” is not a recognized term for Canadian securities legislation, nor can “resource potential” be “doubled” and is therefore misleading.  All references to “resource potential” and “doubling resource potential” are retracted.  The drill results disclosed in the news release should have been disclosed as exploration results and are accordingly clarified in this release. read more

Millennial Produces Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate from Pastos Grandes Brine

(SGS) in their facilities in Lakefield, ON on brine from the Company’s Pastos Grandes project in Salta, Argentina, has yielded battery grade (> 99.5% Li2CO3) lithium carbonate. Final purification testwork results yielded a lithium carbonate product that is 99.92% Li2CO3 with low levels of magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), boron (B), sulphate (SO4) and iron (Fe), with no other detectable metals. read more
