(TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) announces the results of its annual general meeting of shareholders held on April 20th, 2021, in West Vancouver, Canada. Shareholders voted in favour of all items put forward by the board of directors and management including the Company’s Long Term Incentive Plan (the “Plan” as described below).
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2:GR) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has achieved a significant milestone with the production of lithium carbonate of Battery Grade (BG) purity from the first batch of brine processed through the Company’s pilot plant at its Pastos Grandes Project in Salta Province, Argentina. The pilot plant produced lithium carbonate with a purity of 99.96%. Typical Battery Grade quality lithium carbonate is > 99.5% purity. The brine feedstock was derived from the Company’s Production well PGMW17-04 on the Pastos Grandes Salar which was pumped to ponds that concentrate the lithium carbonate by solar evaporation.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced bought deal financing of 8,625,000 units (the “Units“) at a price of C$4.00 per Unit (the “Offering Price“) for aggregate gross proceeds to Millennial of C$34,500,000 (the “Offering“). The Offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters co-led by Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation and Sprott Capital Partners LP as joint bookrunners, and including Mackie Research Capital Corporation (collectively, the “Underwriters“). The Offering included 1,125,000 Units sold pursuant to the full exercise of the Underwriters’ over-allotment option.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that its wholly owned subsidiary, Proyecto Pastos Grandes S.A. (“PPGSA”), has received a Declaracion de Impacto Ambiental (the “DIA”) from the Environmental and Mining Authority in Salta Province, Argentina. The DIA represents the Environmental and Mining Authority’s approval of PPGSA’s Environmental Impact Assessment (the “EIA”) for Construction and Operation of a 24,000 tonne per year battery grade lithium carbonate production facility at its flagship Pastos Grandes lithium carbonate project. The DIA is the main environmental approval document required for mining projects in Salta Province to both proceed to the construction stage and to operate. The Pastos Grandes Project is currently the only active pre-construction phase project in the region with this key milestone permit.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Mining Court of Salta has granted Millennial’s Argentine subsidiary, Proyecto Pastos Grandes S.A., the remaining mining license, Nueva Sijesyta 01, that comprised the original REMSA Properties. The REMSA Properties are comprised of 5 mining licenses totaling 6557 ha which are contiguous with Millennial’s core licenses covering the Salar de Pastos Grandes. The Company has implemented operational procedures to protect the health of its office staff, field crews and contractors during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Where possible, office staff, field crews and contractors have been working from home per local government advisories. Plans for field and other work for 2020 will be evaluated on an ongoing basis but at this time, Millennial does not anticipate a significant or material impact upon its operations. Millennial’s operations in Salta Province are classified as essential and are exempted from some many local and federal COVID-19 restrictions in Argentina.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the National Mining Secretary of Argentina, part of the National Ministry of Work and Production, has signed and granted a Federal Fiscal Stability Certificate (the “Certificate”) for the Company’s Pastos Grandes Project. The Certificate outlines the tax regime and additional benefits bestowed upon its Pastos Grandes lithium project in the province of Salta for the next 30 years.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update of activities at its Pastos Grandes Project in the province of Salta, Argentina. Advances at the project site include ongoing liming and feeding of brine to pilot ponds, pilot plant construction and an additional long-term pumping test. In addition Millennial has made significant progress in securing its “Fiscal Stability” status to establish the tax regime and other benefits for the project for the next 30 years.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (the “Company”), is pleased to report an updated lithium (“Li”) and potassium (“K”) resource statement for its Pastos Grandes brine project in Salta province of Argentina. The NI 43-101 resource statement, detailed in Table 1 below, includes 4,120,000tonnes of lithium carbonate (“Li2CO3“) equivalent (LCE) and 15,342,000 tonnes of potash (“KCl”) equivalent in the Measured and Indicated Resource categories, with an additional798,000 tonnes of LCE and 2,973,000 tonnes KCl in the Inferred Resource category. Compared to resource estimates completed by Montgomery & Associates in its previous report titled Measured, Indicated and Inferred Lithium and Potassium Resource Estimate Pastos Grandes Project Salta Province, Argentina and dated December 22, 2017, the updated resources represent an almost 100% increase in the Measured and Indicated LCE tonnage (2017 value of 2,131,000 tonnes LCE).
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to report encouraging results from an extended pumping test of a second production-scale well at its Pastos Grandes Project in Salta, Argentina. Pumping well PGPW17-04 was installed to complete extended pumping of lithium brine to determine the robustness and chemical variation of the aquifer over 23 days in September, 2018. At a pumping rate of 15 litres/second (L/s), the lithium content remained consistent over the trial period and the drawdown was approximately 57 metres (m), with rapid recovery. Estimated transmissivity was calculated from the drawdown data at 40m2/day. The pumping test was completed under the direction and supervision of Montgomery and Associates.
Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ML) (FSE: A3N2) (OTCQX: MLNLF) (“Millennial” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that bench scale process test work completed by SGS Canada Inc. (SGS) in their facilities in Lakefield, ON on brine from the Company’s Pastos Grandes project in Salta, Argentina, has yielded battery grade (> 99.5% Li2CO3) lithium carbonate. Final purification testwork results yielded a lithium carbonate product that is 99.92% Li2CO3 with low levels of magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), boron (B), sulphate (SO4) and iron (Fe), with no other detectable metals.
