Golden Predator Drilling Confirms Continuity at 3 Aces Project

Golden Predator Mining Corp. (TSX.V:GPY) (OTCQX:NTGSF) (the “Company” or “Golden Predator”) is pleased to report results for 20 reverse circulation drill holes at the 3 Aces Project in southeast Yukon. Drill results have confirmed a doubling of the strike length of the Ace of Hearts vein with 600 m of continuity, and the extension of mineralization for 340 meters along the Hearts-Clubs Corridor. The 1.6 km Hearts-Clubs Corridor drill program, a component of the 2017 drill program, is designed to test and establish continuity along shear zones hosting gold-in-quartz veins.  A second parallel shear zone, below the Hearts-Clubs Corridor, was also established and confirmed with visible gold along a 450 m segment, additional drilling results are pending. read more

Pretium ramps up

Excellent article from our friend Lesley Stokes over at The Northern Miner on Pretium (T.PVG) operations at its Brucejack Mine in Northern British Columbia. Pretium is now processing stope ore with grades running over 12 grams per ton. In the third quater overall, Pretium produced 82,203 oz. gold from 261,262 tonnes grading 10.52 grams gold per tonne. What is remarkable is that the all in sustaining cash cost of this production was US $446 per ounce. read more

Cartier Intersects 7.3 g/t Au Over 2.2 Meters on Chimo, Extends 5M4 Zone to a Depth of 500 m

Cartier Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ECR) (“Cartier”) is pleased to announce that the first results of its 25 000-m ongoing drill program on the Chimo Mine property, located 45 km east of Val-d’Or. Four drill holes, completed 700 m east of the former Chimo Mine workings and on the 5M Zone gold-bearing structure have intersected the 5M4 Zone (FIGURE). The best results are: 7.3 g/t Au/2.2 m included in 2.0 g/t Au/14.1 m and 5.8 g/t Au/2.4 m included in 1.5 g/t Au/14.0 m (see table below). read more
