Alabama Graphite signs LOI

Canada gold, junior mining companies

Alabama Graphite Corp.  (TSX-V:CSPG) (OTCQB:CSPGF) is pleased to announce that the Company has executed a Letter of Intent with an established United States-based lead-acid battery manufacturer to supply high-purity, natural flake premium Purified Micronized Graphite product — marketed under the tradename ULTRA-PMG™ — and Delaminated Expanded Graphite conductivity enhancement materials for applications in the negative electrodes of advanced lead-acid battery systems.”

Don Baxter and the crew at Alabama are taking a step by step approach to lining up buyers for their large graphite reserves at its Coosa deposit. They have a lot of material out for testing and this sort of agreement, initially for a small amount but with the potential for significant amounts down the road, is exactly what should be expected going forward.

Along with the scale of the Coosa deposit, the fact that it is in the continental United States, in this era of “Buy America” is a huge upside for the company. A Letter of Intent is not quite a Purchase Order, but it is a huge step forward for one of the most exciting companies in the graphite space today.
