We are lucky enough to, occasionally, have guest commentary from newsletter writer David Erfle at http://www.juniorminerjunky.com/. I spent a lot of time with David in the Yukon and he asks the right questions about junior mining stocks. Here’s what he has to say about Bonterra Resources (V.BTR)
“BonTerra Extends Multiple Gold Zones by Additional 300 Meter Along Strike and Depth at Gladiator Gold Deposit:
Nav Dhaliwal, CEO and President, stated, “Our resource development program at the Gladiator Gold Deposit continues to successfully extend the western mineralized zones along strike and at depth. The predictability of our geological model is now considered to be dependable in projecting the on-strike and at-depth geometry of gold-bearing zones. In addition to once again expanding the size of the Gladiator Deposit, our geological model has demonstrated additional success up to 8 km westward, in the southern part of our Coliseum property (see press release of September 15, 2017).”
After speaking with VP of exploration Dale Ginn, he informed me they have 15-20,000 meters more to drill before year-end with 80,000 meters planned for next year. This is fully funded and the company will release an updated 43-101 resource at Gladiator by the end of Q2 2018 and they are confident of at least a 2m ounce resource. The company now has a 60 man camp and are spending between $1 – $2 million per month on drilling at an all-in cost of around $100 per meter. Assays will continue to take nearly 2 months to come back due to the now 800,000 meter program at Windfall by Osisko.”
