The Canadian exploration community lost a star this summer.
Julia Lane was a brilliant geologist and, on my brief meetings, a really rather nice person. ATAC Resources lost a bright, young, VP exploration, the wider exploration community lost a future leader.
Now there has been a Foundation set up in her memory.
“The Julia Lane Foundation was created to continue her passion to encourage young professionals. Its primary intent is to assist and encourage future generations to pursue advanced education in the sciences. Grants made by the foundation will primarily go towards students pursuing degrees in earth sciences or related programs.”
