Cartier Iron Provides Update on Exploration Program at Big Easy Property, Newfoundland

Cartier Iron Corporation (CSE:CFE) (“Cartier Iron”), is pleased to announce the completion of line cutting and commencement of the 56-line kilometre Induced Polarization/Resistivity Survey (“IP/Res”) at the Big Easy Property (“Big Easy”) in Newfoundland. Big Easy is located approximately 20 kilometres (km) northwest of the town of Clarenville, about 200km northwest of St. John’s. MES Geophysics of St. John’s, contractor for the IP/Res survey, has completed the detailed lines with 25m dipole spacing over the original Big Easy showing area and is progressing well on the remainder of the grid which is being covered by 50m dipole spacing.  The IP/Res survey is designed to test the full 3.5 km strike length between the Big Easy and the ET showings to a depth of 200m to explore the full extent of the epithermal system. Historical diamond drill holes open to depth near the Big Easy showing offer the possibility that a downhole IP/Res survey may be used at a later date to extend the search volume even deeper. read more

Standard Lithium Provides Pilot Plant and Process Testing Update

V.SLL, Standard Lithium

Standard Lithium Ltd. (“Standard Lithium” or the “Company”) (TSXV:SLL) (OTCQX:STLHF) (FRA:S5L) is pleased to provide an update of the extensive process testing work and pilot plant design being performed by the Company’s Scientific Advisory Team.  The Scientific Advisory Team and other technology vendors have been testing raw lithium brines from Standard Lithium’s Projects in California and Arkansas using a new generation of lithium-selective sorbent technologies.  Data gathered from mini-pilot scale testing has demonstrated highly-effective separation of lithium from other cations in the raw brine, in line with previously published and peer-reviewed studies, and has also demonstrated that the solid sorbent materials can be simply made using standard commercial manufacturing processes.  Work has also been completed to test varying physical methods by which raw brine can be mixed with the lithium-selective material to optimise lithium removal.  Testing is ongoing and will be used in the full-scale pilot design (see below). read more

Triumph Gold Mobilizes Crew for Phase 1 Drilling on Freegold Mountain Project, YT

V.TIG, Triumph gold, gold

Triumph Gold Corp., (TSX-V: TIG) (OTCMKTS: NFRGF) (“Triumph Gold” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that a field crew has been dispatched to the Freegold Mountain property to execute a 1,900 metre diamond drill program targeting the newly discovered porphyry system in the Keirsten Zone (see PR # 17-13). Porphyry related mineralization was first discovered in the Keirsten Zone with drill hole KZ17-01 which tested the center of a 1.1 km diameter intense (up to 180 milliradians) buried chargeability high. The drill hole encountered rock that had been affected by an extremely vigorous porphyry related hydrothermal system from 193 metres to the end of the hole at 603.50 metres.  Phase 1 drilling will test new targets within and along the margin of the chargeability high that were developed through application of a porphyry model to the interpretation of existing geological and geophysical data. read more
