Renforth Completes Initial Metallic Screen Assays at New Alger 68% of Samples Display Nugget Effect, Give Higher Gold Values in Plus Fraction

  • A total of 76 samples were selected and metallic screen assayed from the core rejects from Fall 2019 drill program
  • Results from metallic screen selection demonstrate the presence of coarse gold
  • 51 out of 76 samples submitted for metallic screen returned assay values from the “plus” portion of the metallic screen higher than the original fire assay values. This includes 70.1 g/t Au in the plus fraction where the original full sample fire assay was 11.2 g/t Au, the new full sample metallic screen assay is 10.5 g/t Au. The lower full sample values reflect the inclusion of screened, finer material of a lower grade as discussed below.

Renforth Drills 1.25 g/t Au over 7.5m at a Vertical Depth of 330m in a 110m Western Step Out on the Piché Volcanic Mine Vein Sequence at New Alger

  • REN-20-38 creates one of the deepest pierce points at New Alger at 360m vertical depth with an interval of 1.84 g/t Au over 1m in Vein #1.
  • REN-20-38 is 300m in from the western property boundary, >700m from the main shaft of the historic Thompson-Cadillac Mine and the current deepest pierce point at 404m vertical depth. REN-20-38 results give depth continuity across the property.

Additional Mineralization Added to Renforth’s Discovery Veins, Including 8.5m of 0.87 g/t Au at a Distance of 49.5m Down Hole

Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE:RFR)(OTC Pink:RFHRF) (“Renforth” or the “Company”) is pleased to share with our shareholders recent results from additional sampling of a Discovery Vein drill hole from November 2019. This resampling results in new assay information, including 8.5m of 0.87 g/t Au at a depth of only 49.5m down the hole, which was not previously known to be mineralized. This shallow mineralization was included in a total of 9.8m of mineralization the new data adds to the drill hole. The additional sampling was undertaken in order to obtain quarter cuts of certain samples which were taken in November 2019 but not processed due to equipment issues. In taking the quarter cut samples Renforth’s geologist decided to take “contingency” samples of greywacke in order close off mineralized intercepts. These contingency samples unexpectedly gave gold values in assay, including 2.3 g/t Au over 2m between 49.5 and 51.5m as measured in the core box. The core box in question is pictured below. The assumption in the field was that the sample would come back with a zero value, based on visual inspection of the core as compared to other core drilled in other areas.
