White Gold Corp. Closes Acquisition of QV Gold Project; Includes 230,000 Oz Gold Inferred Resource Contiguous to the White Gold Property and Compelling New Targets

White Gold Corp. (TSX.V: WGO, OTC – Nasdaq Intl: WHGOF, FRA: 29W) (the “Company“) is pleased to announce the closing of the previously announced purchase (the “Acquisition”) of the QV Gold Project (the “Property”) from Comstock Metals Ltd. (TSX.V: CSL) (the “Vendor”). The Property covers 16,335 hectares (40,000 acres) in the White Gold District of the Yukon Territory, bringing the Company’s total holdings in the White Gold District to 439,000 hectares (1,080,000 acres). The Property is contiguous to the Company’s White Gold property which hosts its Golden Saddle and Arc deposits (960,970 oz indicated and 282,490 oz inferred), 20 km southwest of the Company’s new Vertigo Discovery on its JP Ross property and 44 kilometres northwest of Goldcorp Inc.’s (TSX: G, NYSE: GG) Coffee project.
